About me
I was born in Riga, Latvia to a Latvian father and a Russian mother.
In the second year of my Latvian University studies I decided to move to Spain to study Translation and Interpreting at university in Alicante.
After a year of living in Spain, it was clear that Spain was the place for me, and I came to the decision to move to Spain permanently. Shortly afterwards I was offered a job in the Canary Islands and I came over to Lanzarote.

Work experience
My previous work experience includes managing international exchange student office, teaching English and Russian in one of the leading language schools. I also worked for a well known real estate agency in both their sales and rental departments and for one of the most established law firms of Lanzarote.
My roles were varied and included administration and secretarial work with managing property rentals, assisting clients with the buying and selling of their properties including preparing contracts, Notary appointments, tax calculations, dealing with the local banks, utility companies and translations.
Skills
I have a degree in translation and interpreting and also a Spanish qualification in accountancy.
I am a member of Accountant and Fiscal advisor association of Madrid and collaborate with Spanish tax offices which allow me to carry out necessary work needed and satisfy my customers´ needs.
I speak 5 languages fluently which has given me the opportunity to help English, Spanish and Russian speaking clients with the usual Spanish red tape as well as accountancy and tax matters.
